How long have you been with CIRA?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

During my graduation week, I took my oral exam on Friday morning, and on Monday I sent my CV to CIRA. That very afternoon, Alain Bacardit contacted me, and my application was approved. The following week, the CIRA adventure began.I started my week’s training, followed by my first assignment (heading for Mulhouse). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

What do you like about CIRA?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

What appealed to me about CIRA from my first interview was the promise of long-distance travel. I’ve always had a passion for travel, and I’m delighted to be able to combine work and passion.What’s more, there’s a great atmosphere at CIRA, both within the team and at head office. I really appreciate the proximity and attentiveness shown by the head office.Our work gives us a real sense of quality of life. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tell us about your current mission?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the moment I’m in Fos sur Mer, in a company of the ENGIE group that recovers gas in liquid form and returns it in gaseous form.Quite honestly, it’s one of the best sites I’ve worked on since I started, because you really feel useful, and the site isn’t noisy \ud83d\ude09After years of travelling a lot, it’s also very nice to work in my region, with a great team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I joined the CIRA adventure in February 2023<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My current job involves carrying out technical requisitions for analyzer tenders (analyzer replacement and installation of new analyzers).I also design future samplings to optimize the operation and reliability of the equipment to be installed.Once the companies have been appointed and the equipment chosen, I oversee the work and commissioning in coordination with the company in charge of analyzer maintenance at the Donges site (44).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My other job is to draw up maintenance plans (preventive and predictive maintenance).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I’m also in charge of improving the reliability of online analyzers at the Donges site (improving availability rates, measurement accuracy and maintenance costs).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What do you like about your job?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

For me, it’s about using my know-how and, above all, working with cutting-edge technologies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tell us about your current mission:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

My mission is to draw up specifications for the installation of on-line analyzers, design sampling systems and PLCs. I’m also responsible for the reliability of what’s already installed on the platform. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

How did you get started at CIRA?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I started out as an instrument technician on a shutdown at Total in Belgium.CIRA soon offered me some great opportunities. First of all, I was able to carry out maintenance work on my own, and then I had the chance to work at the European Space Center for Ariane 6 in French Guiana.This was my first step towards commissioning.Following my mission in French Guiana, I carried out a few missions as supervisor, on work sites in France, before moving on to what I really enjoy: Commissioning. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

What do you like about CIRA?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

What I like about CIRA is the sense of adventure; new encounters, new cultures, new ways of living and working depending on where we may be assigned.At CIRA, I’m delighted with the career plan on offer and the prospects for advancement.From the very first interview we’re told about career opportunities, and I can confirm that actions follow words.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What excites you about your job?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

It’s all part of what I love about my job: being autonomous, managing my own schedule and seeing different projects move forward and come to a successful conclusion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Your first intervention?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was at the Arkema La Chambre site (73). It was a short one-week shutdown. Head office had asked me to go on site to reinforce the teams present during the annual shutdown. I really enjoyed my first experience in the field, especially as it was just a few weeks after I’d been hired. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

What do you like about CIRA?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

What I like about CIRA is the scope for development and the diversity of the sites. It’s nice to discover new sites, with new challenges and the opportunity to always discover new things. CIRA allows me to keep learning and evolving. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

What do you love about your job?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

What I love about my job is solving problems \ud83d\ude09I love working in a profession that’s constantly evolving. We always have to keep abreast of what’s new and build on what we’ve already learned.I enjoy working in a job where I always have to be on the lookout for new knowledge.I know I’m in a “man’s” job. But I’ve never had any problems on site. I want to break down preconceptions and encourage women to take up this exciting profession<\/strong>! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

How did you get started at CIRA?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When I finished my BTS CIRA, I joined CIRA.I started out as an instrument technician, then did some maintenance work, followed by 3 years of supervision and shutdown preparation. In recent years, I’ve been doing site preparation work, before becoming a project manager, my current position. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

What do you like about your job?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

There are many jobs in my line of work \ud83d\ude09When I was an instrumentalist and supervisor, I liked being out in the field. I liked solving problems, taking responsibility and then seeing a project through to completion.Since I’ve been a project manager, I like the relationship aspect with customers and the team.I know the realities of the field, which is a real advantage when I’m talking to teams, and when I have to advise or inform a customer. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

What do you like about CIRA?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I’ve always really appreciated the family atmosphere within the company and the freedom of speech we have with management.We feel that our opinion and our word count, which is really appreciated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tell us about your current position?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a business manager, I’m in charge of customer relations, i.e. analyzing the request and proposing the best team formed with our instrumentalists.In addition to my consulting role, I have to represent CIRA and seek out new talent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
